Santa Clarita Valley Search and Rescue
For over 50 years the Los Angeles County Search and Rescue teams have been counted on to locate and assist lost, hurt, or trapped people in mountainous, hillside and urban settings. Families in the Santa Clarita Valley can sleep easy knowing they can always count on these expert teams to take action in the event of an emergency that calls for it. They will be at the Santa Clarita Home and Garden Show to continue to inform the public about the value of their service to the community.
There are so many mountain trails in the area that these types of emergencies are quite likely. In the last year they responded to 300 different incidents in environments, which consisted of mountain and hillside terrain, caves, fallen debris, and vehicles over the side of a road. The expertise and proficiency under pressure of these public servants is why they have been so successful in helping the families of Santa Clarita.
