2024 VENDORS – IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING THE 2024 HOME & GARDEN SHOW SETUP/SHOW/TEARDOWN

Sunday, April 28th, 2024 10am to 4pm
FRIDAY SET-UP, ALL DAY 8am-6pm (Note you will NOT be allowed to drive on the field on Saturday so you MUST set up on Friday or you will have to hand carry everything in.
TEAR DOWN is Sunday at 4:20pm.
**IMPORTANT NOTE TO VENDORS: Please forward this information to anyone in your company that will be part of the 2024 Home and Garden Show including Friday setup and Sunday tear down.
Make Certain You Bring Your Own Table Cloth and 25-foot extension cord and power strip if you signed up for electricity. We will NOT have any available.
Some very important rules that will be enforced by KHTS Home and Garden Show Staff & Management (NO EXCEPTIONS):
Please be considerate of any trash that needs to be discarded at your booth(s). Any trash, including cardboard, plastic wrapping, and other paper trash left behind by venders at the end of the show is strictly prohibited and will result in a $200 fine and you will not be invited back to future shows.
Vendors are welcome to hang any signage and banners inside of their designated booth. IT IS OK TO HANG YOUR LOGO AND BUSINESS SIGNS ON YOUR POP-UP TENT. Signs are strictly prohibited from being displayed outside of the booths, outside and on the other tents/other booths that are not designated to you, and on the show grounds. These areas are reserved for our sponsor signs and any signs/banners placed by Home and Garden Show Staff. Violators will have their signs removed by staff, subject to a $200 fine per item placed, and will not be invited back to future shows.
Company vehicles need to be parked in Vendor/Volunteer Parking. They are prohibited from being displayed in the visitor parking lots near the show area. Some vendors have paid to have their vehicles parked as part of the show and are the only company vehicles allowed to be near or on show grounds. Violators will be subject to their vehicle being towed and charged an additional $500 fee per vehicle. You will also not be invited back to future shows.
WEEKEND SCHEDULE
FRIDAY APRIL 26TH
Vendor Check-In and Setup – Please check in at the KHTS Main Entrance Booth before setting up. Set-up time is Friday, April 26th from 8am to 6pm. Please note, no setting up before 8am. You will be permitted to drive onto the field to drop off any setup items. Drive-on can only be accessed at the East end of the park (Towards the new Central Park stairs). There will be no other access points to the show area to drive on other than the East End of the park. Violators will be asked to forfeit their booth(s) and banned from the show without refund. Please be considerate of other show vendors and park in the vendor parking lot after unloading items. We are expecting over 450 vendors, so please respect this request. There will be secure, designated vendor parking and overnight parking is permitted, but we will not be patrolling your vehicle overnight. Overnight security will be provided during set-up through the end of the event.
SATURDAY APRIL 27TH
If you had not checked in on Friday, you must check in at the KHTS Main Entrance Booth before setting up. Our show begins at 10am. Due to the safety of Home and Garden Show visitors, vendors will NOT be permitted to drive onto the show grounds. (Food Trucks & Emergency Expo vehicles may drive on to the field at 9:30am). No Exceptions. Setup is scheduled for all day Friday. If you are only signed up for Saturday and need to tear down after the show, you cannot drive onto the show area until visitor traffic has left, around 5:20pm at the East End of the park only. This is for the safety of everyone.
ALL VENDORS MUST BE SET UP BY 9am ON SATURDAY. NO VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE FIELD ON SATURDAY. IF YOU NEED TO UNLOAD, YOU MUST DO IT ON FRIDAY, OTHERWISE YOU WILL HAVE TO WALK IT IN. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOADING YOUR OWN GOODS IN.
SUNDAY APRIL 28TH
Show begins at 10am. Due to the safety of Home and Garden Show visitors, vendors will NOT be permitted to drive onto the show grounds. (Food Trucks 9:30am).
Vendor Teardown – All vendors are required to remain open for business until 4pm on Sunday, April 28th. Due to visitor park traffic, vendors are not permitted to line up early for drive-on. This will cause traffic issues on the east side of the park where visitors are parked and traffic flow will be affected if vendors block this area.
Due to the safety of Home and Garden visitors, vendors, and staff, you will NOT be permitted to drive onto the show area until visitor traffic has left, after
4:20pm. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Please complete your teardown by 6pm. Security will be provided after 6pm. Anything not removed by 8:30am on Monday will be discarded at owners expense.
VENDOR & VOLUNTEER PARKING
Due to park renovations, vendor & volunteer parking has moved. There will be directional signs to vendor parking (see illustration below). All vendors & volunteers must park in the designated vendor parking area. General parking needs to be available for our guests. If vendors & volunteers park in general parking you are taking away ease of access for the show and discouraging guests from attending. If you require handicap parking access, you must have a disabled placard or license plate on your vehicle to park in the disabled parking area. East Side of the park is where drive-on for setup on Friday (8am-6pm) and Teardown on Sunday (4:30pm-6pm) is located. There will not be any other times over the weekend when vendors can drive onto the show area.
VENDORS IN SECTIONS 100, 200, 300 400, 700, 800, 1000 & 1200
You will need to supply your own extension cord (s) to access electricity. There will be a power supply box within a maximum of 25-feet from your booth.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
If you are providing your own tent/easy-up you must secure your tent. We recommend 5 pound buckets filled with water or sand on each corner. The park has been known to have gusts of wind or just be breezy at times.
