Bella Mare Sea Glass

Bella Mare (meaning “beautiful sea”) was founded in Santa Clarita in 2007 and is a proud member of the North American Sea Glass Association. The North American Sea Glass Association (NASGA) was formed by a group of professional sea glass collectors, authors, artisans, and retailers. The primary goal of NASGA is to establish a community of informed collectors and sellers of sea glass that are educated on the characteristics and significance of genuine sea glass. NASGA is establishing guidelines to differentiate genuine from fake sea glass, and offer our commercial members and collectors educational materials via newsletters, lectures, workshops, festivals, and links to websites.

For Leslie Stabile, her favorite pastime as a little girl was collecting sea glass and many years later it still is. It all began at 16 when she started travelling the world. Stabile landed a job in the travel industry which fostered her wanderlust, taking her to over 33 countries and beaches all over the globe.  From a young age, Stabile started traveling the world and at the age of 16 and worked in the travel industry for many years my job took me to over 33 countries and beaches around the world. I am very lucky to still travel and take people on private sea glass tours to some of the most abundant sea glass beaches around the world! I also enjoy my job doing talks and seminars on the history of Sea glass.
