Your smile will never leave your face when you join us for our Strut Your Mutt dog show at our 2020 KHTS Home and Garden Show. New to the KHTS Home and Garden Show this year, Strut Your Mutt is the perfect place to showcase the beauty and talents of your loveable mixed breed dog in Santa Clarita.
It’s your chance to let your mutt shine. You already know your dog is talented and lovable. Now share your joy with the rest of the Santa Clarita Valley.
Strut Your Mutt, is unlike any other dog show. It’s fun and entertaining, but not to be taken too seriously.

Produced by KHTS radio and coordinated by Alec Torres, ABC-CDT, of Mannered Mutt Dog Training, Santa Clarita’s only rescue dog specialist, the show is sure to be a blast.
Strut Your Mutt will be a one-of-kind experience to see the most loveable pets in Santa Clarita and beyond. The event will be enjoyable for both contestants and spectators alike. After the show, check out our local pet vendors and pick up some pet supplies for your furry companion at the 2020 KHTS Home and Garden Show and Emergency Expo on Saturday, April 25, 2020 (10am-5pm) and Sunday, April 26, 2020 (10am-4pm)
Proceeds benefit St. Bonnie’s Sanctuary.
Strut Your Mutt Schedule:
Saturday, April 25, 2020: 11:00am – 1:00pm, 2:30pm – 4:30 pm
Sunday, April 26, 2020: 10:00am – 1:00pm, 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Rules:
- This show is just for fun and should not be taken too seriously
- Any dog owner exhibiting a bad attitude will be disqualified
- All dogs must be spayed or neutered
- All dogs must have proper vaccinations and records
- Any dog exhibiting stress or aggressive behaviors will be removed from the show
- No late entries permitted
- No altering the appearance of the dog is permitted (e.g. no makeup, paints, hair dyes, etc.)
- Check-in for your dog’s category is 30 minutes before the category is scheduled
- Each dog is limited to compete in 3 categories total
- All dogs must have proper ID on at all times in form of a printed collar or tag.
- Dogs participating in a puppy category, must be at least 4 months old (or have had their rabies vaccine) to 12 months old.
- Dogs must be of mixed breeds. No pure breeds accepted or “designer mixes” are permitted IE: Golden Doodles, Pomskys, Malitpoos.
